Mr. Brenner is a retired decorated police lieutenant with the Bridgeport, Connecticut Police Department. Past investigative employment and formal investigator/security(MDSO)training with the Central Intelligence Agency.
Mr. Brenner has extensive trial experience testifying in civil cases and in all types of criminal cases including capital murder. He has worked with both the local and national media and is currently contracted to conduct investigations on several federal government accounts.
Mr. Brenner earned a graduate degree in Criminal Justice from Boston University and Undergraduate degrees and certificates in Law Enforcement Science from the University of New Haven, and the University of Virginia.
Mr. Brenner graduated from the Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing and is a registered nurse licensed to practice in Connecticut and Virginia. Mr. Brenner has utilized his clinical skills extensively in crime scene/forensic investigations along with Yale University.
Professionally, Mr. Brenner has graduated from the finest law enforcement and intelligence &security programs available, including the FBI National Academy (210th), Quantico, VA., and (the) CIA Investigator/Security programs A and B, Washington, DC.
Mr. Brenner has a diverse background in major case investigations along with case management and command of investigative units.
Mr. Brenner commanded the Internal Affairs/EEO Division along with the Major Crimes Unit for the City of Bridgeport Police. Additionally, Mr. Brenner’s teaching experience includes: crime scene, criminal law, interview and interrogations, constitutional law, and search and seizure at both the police academy and university levels along with instructing student forensic science and student graduate level forensic nursing interns.
